The Operation Miracle reunion is part of a a sincere tribute to Three Bold Airmen, KIA 3 October 1979. They lie in unmarked graves, God alone knows where.
Hunter pilot Brian Gordon, and Canberra crew Kevin Peinke and JJ Strydom (SAAF navigator on secondment) were killed on day 5 of Operation Miracle, after most of the ground troops had withdrawn from the battle field.

The RLI Troopie statue, forged in honour of those who served and those who fell with the Regiment in Rhodesia will be rededicated and given a permanent home in a ceremony to take place over the weekend of the 27 of September in Hatfield House London.
Tickets are now open to anyone interested from all Services for the Re-dedication Service
TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS
A world wide members meeting, disco and Sunday lunch will take place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel.
